Dawn Johnson, CEO

 

DCJ Global Management Solutions, LLC was found by Dawn Johnson, a retired Environmental Protection Specialist (EPS) from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  Prior to joining the EPA, Dawn worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  During her career at the EPA, Dawn worked within the Office of Regional Counsel, Superfund and Emergency Management Division, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Air Enforcement, Environmental Justice and the Pesticides and Toxic Substances Branch.  Dawn provides environmental support to the Office of Environmental Planning and Historic Preservation Program (EHP) for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).  She monitors all project and technical task orders to ensure compliance with environmental laws (i.e., the Endangered Species Act, National Historic Preservation Act, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, Coastal Barrier Resources Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Fish, and Wildlife Coordination Act, and Executive Orders 11988 (Floodplains), 11990 (Wetlands), and 12898 (Environmental Justice).  Dawn prepares and reviews studies, written reports, charts, maps and other documentation that describes the technical methods and results of surveys of properties identified for environmental impact statements, environmental assessments, and survey reports.  The documents include archaeological, geological, and historical significance in relation to other environmental factors that are considered when selecting and recommending plans to repair and/or replace facilities damaged by disasters.
